We are a family-owned independent jewellery shop operating in Stonehaven for nearly 20 years. We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and stunning collections from large name brands to unique hand-crafted pieces.

We are looking for a passionate, friendly, and reliable Sales Assistant to join our close-knit team. Whether you are helping someone find the perfect birthday present or a little treat for themselves you’ll play a key role in making our customers feel special.

All training will be provided. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver exceptional service: Greet customers with a warm welcome, listen to their needs, and guide them through our collections with patience and care.

 

  • Share the sparkle: Develop a good knowledge of our products (metals, gemstones, and brands) to confidently answer customer questions.

 

  • Keep us looking beautiful: Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring window and in-store displays are immaculate, secure, and inviting.

 

  • Day-to-day operations: Handle over-the-counter sales, operate the till and assist with stock management.

  • Repairs: Advise customers of the best course for repairs, take accurate details and expectations from the customer.

Who You Are

  • A natural with people: You are warm, empathetic, and genuinely enjoy connecting with customers from all walks of life.​

 

  • A detail enthusiast: You take pride in precision—whether it's handling delicate jewellery, managing transactions accurately, or spotting a smudge on a display glass.

  • A reliable team player: You are trustworthy, punctual, and thrive in a small, supportive team environment.

​​

  • Prior experience: Experience in retail, luxury goods, or hospitality is preferred, but a sparkling attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most!

Hours

 11.5 Hours Total

 

Primary workday is Saturday (9:15 – 5:15pm), other hours through the week will be expected but will be mutually agreed.
